Disk ][

I would appreciate some help/advice.  I just recently picked up a Disk ][
(dirt cheap) and after checking it over with various diagnostic disks and
such, it keeps saying that the disk is write protected (when it's not) when I 
try to format or write on it.  I've checked out all the chips on the logic
board, even swapped the board out.. same problem.  I've loosened and tried
moving the write/read switch with no luck.

Any suggestions?  

My next step is to remove the switch and swap it with one I KNOW works.
