Summary: need a new one.

  A while ago, I posted a message about my broken Disk ][ drive, and a kind
soul out there offered to sell me his (misaligned) one. If you are he, please
reply to this message as I wish to buy it from you. Unfortunately, I lost
my emailing-list file.
  Also, does anyone know why a Disk ][ controller would work in my (old,
decrepit) ][e, but not my //GS? I have another one (with the P5,P6 PROMS in
ceramic packages) that does work in my //GS. Maybe my GS doesn't like the
PROMs in plasic DIP packages? Just curious.
