Actually, you CAN make cards to work in slot 3 along with a card in the AUX
slot.  Just not many people do.  The SS Card isn't one of them, unfortunately.
AE used to make some cards that would work in slot 3.  I think Transwarp was
one of them.  You might want to check the manuals for the AE cards you have to
see if any of them can work in slot 3.

What will this give him?  Then he'd need a 3rd SS card to connect the modem to,
and would need yet another slot......
