Agreed. I certainly did not buy an Amiga because CBM was selling it (although I
won't buy a Mac because Apple is selling it :-).

True again. Plus, PCs and Macs specs are doubling every 6 months, or so... Only
the Amiga stays behind.

No real "business" program for the Amiga, such software is available on PC and
Macs only.

No, the Amiga is the acknowledged leader of the graphic applications market.
The "Video Toaster" that comes for PC is actually an Amiga without its tag. As
for being screwed by the company, CBM escaped liquidation a few months ago :-).
The reasons I bought an Amiga : this is the machine that inherited the "apple
II" spirit. It's built in an intelligent way, not by keeping the same old
architecture and just plugging in faster and more powerful chips. And the user
base has achieved incredible things.
I'd have bought an IBM and FrameMaker if wordprocessing was what I had in mind,
but it wasn't, so...
