  It could be the cable, or the drive, or the RAMfast.  Start easy - get
a new SCSI cable (they're not expensive) or try out a known good cable.
  If it's not the cable, try letting the drive warm up longer before you
start the computer.  You still get the "searching SCSI bus" messages, right?

  It shouldn't do that.
