I just placed an order for a floptical at a local Mac dealer in
Toronto. They have a policy on matching the best US price on any
product they carry so I picked up a copy of the August MacLuser mag and
flipped through the mail-order ads in the back. The best price I found
is from The LLB Co. They have a nice two-page colour spread in the back
of the magazine. They list the PLI drive (Insite mechanism) for $319
which I assume includes a cable and one disk. 21-meg disks are $24 in
single quantities (you can get them for $15 or so, I think).
They have same-day shipping via Airborne Express or UPS Ground on
orders received before 7:30pm EST.
