That's the problem with proportional fonts (i.e., the majority of
bitmap and Truetype fonts). Characters are not of a fixed-width, so the
horizontal spacing is very easily messed up.

You could try bolding PC Monospaced to make it thicker on screen. I
personally use Courier 10. It is possible to display Shaston as a
monospaced font. Perhaps that could be an option in a future
ShadowWrite.
