Modem troubles...

Recently, I've been having trouble with my Zoom v.32bis modem losing characters
in PT 3.1 at 14.4k (with v.42bis, LAP-M)...

The funny thing is that I lose characters in groups of 4-5 or sometimes more...

Does this sound like a modem, serial firmware, or cable problem?

I have a Zip 10/64, and a HWHSK cable, so I realy don't see where the 
problem is... (Yes.. I know I need to test my stuff on other computers, but
I haven't had time to...)
