RamFast SCSI probs with disappering Syquest partitions

G'day All,
I have a problem with my IIGS with a Rev D RamFast
SCSI card. To the IIGS's RamFast I have a 20 Meg Rodime HD
connected with a 44Meg Syquest hanging off the Rodime to
terminate the chain. I boot into the Finder. The CVRamFastROM
drive has been enabled, ie shows up on the desktop.

The syquest cartridge has been partitioned into
2 partitions,

__The__ problem is that only the second syquest
partition is recognized by the RamFast!! I _cannot_ get the
first partition to appear.

When I launch the RamFast.System utility, only the second
partition appears. However, when I use the inbuilt SCSI
utilities as if I'm going to format/partition the cartridge
again, _both_ partitions are recognized!

If I disable the CVRamFastROM drive option, __the__ both
the syquests partitions appear on the desktop. What gives????

The RamFast ROMS are 3.01b if that helps. The IGS is equipped
with a GSZip 8MHz/16K cache with a 4 meg sequential systems
memory card, quickie card and sonic blaster, although I
don't think the last two are the cause of the problems.
