HardPressed crashes

I've come across an incompatibility* that I consider a bit weird: my
machine crashes whenever HardPressed and GSCII+ 2.3.1 are loaded/active.
That is, when I boot, I get into the Finder, but it crashes before
drawing any icons/windows.
Can anyone else confirm this?

* It might actually be a problem with GSCII+ that HP brings out more
clearly - I say this because I have had irregular crashes before that
don't recur when I reboot.
