I once bought a 2400 bps Zoom modem. It didn't work. Zoom Tech Support
refused to help me because they didn't know anything about an Apple IIgs.
Direct Micro offered to send me a replacement. When it came, it didn't work
either. The Direct Micro sales rep tried to help me, be he couldn't help
much (obviously, since his job isn't tech support, but at least he tried
where Zoom wouldn't) and finally agreed to send me another replacement. It
didn't work either and finally Direct Micro just gave me my money back. I
can't answer for Matt, but for me, that's why I'll never buy or recommend a
Zoom modem.
