.bsq - BinScii'ed NuFX file. [TEXT]

You need to get a copy of GSCII + (available on cco.caltech.edu) and
use it to un-binscii the file. Now you can use GSHK to un-NuFX it and
you should be set.

.bsc - Not a typo. This is a BinScii file. [TEXT].

Again, run GSCII + to un-binscii it and that's all you need to do.

Here are some other file types you might see:

  .shk - NuFX archive.
.sdk - NuFX with a shrunk disk image.
.bxy - NuFX with a Binary II header.

GSHK will handle all of these.

Also, here is a list of the big IIGS FTP sites:

 Site name Directory
--------- ---------
apple2.archive.umich.edu /archive/apple2 (Note 1)
brownvm.brown.edu LISTSERV.193 (Note 2)
cco.caltech.edu /pub/apple2 (mostly GS, but some non-GS)
f.ms.uky.edu /pub/appleII
grind.isca.uiowa.edu /apple2
plains.nodak.edu /pub/apple2
wuarchive.wustl.edu /systems/apple2, /usenet/comp.binaries.apple2

FYI, all of this info. + a lot more is available in the FAQ for this
News group. If you need a copy, let me know and I'll be glad to e-mail
it. BTW the FAQ is posted monthly I beleive.

                        Hope this helps,

                             Joe
