Upgrading an Apple 20SC SCSI HD?

I'm buying an old Apple 20SC (20 megabyte) SCSI external hardrive,
but wondering if it's possible to mount a modern internal hardisk inside
the case, replacing the old 20mb unit.

First off, can this even be done? Will I be able to fit a new
3.5" drive inside the case and connect the power & access leds (does an
Apple drive even have both leds?) the powersupply, and all else? I'd only
do this if there's _no_ soldering required and wouldn't be a complicated mess.
In otherwords, if it's just a matter of unscrewing a few things, snap in a few
cables that slide off, then I'd like to know...

If this can't be done, or is just too complex a job, I'll probably
just pass the hardrive onto my less fortunate brother with a stock ROM 01.
Myself, I'd probably start fresh by buying a brand-new TMS Shadow drive
and RamFast SCSI -- however, I won't if I can just buy a cheaper internal
SCSI drive and mount it inside the case. NOTE: I'll probably mount a
Quantum 240-LPS or Maxtor 340 SCSI drive in the Apple 20SC case if this
would work and hook it up to a RamFast SCSI.

(Please reply by mail, as I still don't follow csa2 often :/ )
