One thing I was thinking of recently (something I wanted to do but I can't
program yet) was to make a sort of new Text Edit with a whole bunch of new
features like speed, page breaks, multiple rulers, etc.  Well, I figured that
if this little "Text Edit" procedure actually worked well, I could turn it
into a user tool for every programmer to use as an alternative to Text Edit.

So, my point is, if you don't go through with the whole WP, why not go ahead
with the user tool to help make it possible?
