Re: Using GS Monitor on a Mac

Nope, the Apple II RGB monitor is made by Hitachi, the Mac RGB monitor is
manufactured by Sony.
I ever tried to connect my Apple II RGB monitor to a Mac IIcx (with Toby frame buffer)
but it does not function. Simply the vertical and horizontal frequencies are too fast
for the monitor, you see the screen cut in tree portions.
Also the inverse is not possible (Sony monitor to Apple IIgs) because the frenquencies
(horizontal and vertical) are to low to be syncronized by the monitor.
If you want a common monitor for the Apple II and Mac you should have a multiscan
model.
