When I purchased my GS in 1988 the Apple Dealer told me (I know Apple dealers
aren't the most credible people when it comes to hardware but...) that the
monitor was a Sony Trinitron with a "black screen for high contrast"...
Is there "any" credibility to this statement? I know that Apple Co. switches
it's vendors frequently so I assume it is a possibility that there could be
different models of GS monitors. (i.e. Quantums to Conners, etc. for HDs...)
Also on a side note has anyone successfully rigged their GS monitor to a
VCR without using a VOC or video digitizing card? I hate lugging around
2 monitors and if there was some way to use the GS monitor as a TV screen
that would be useful... (I really like that feature in Amiga monitors.)
Thanks,
