Closed is an understatement! When you say a free UUCP connection do you
mean my NeXT or GS, with appropriate software, could uupoll them 
automatically and retrieve e-mail and news? Or would one have to sit there
and do things manually? Sounds too good to be true.

PS: We don't get any alt groups unknown. And the set environment reader
variable won't work. I do think people underestimate the security issues
and political issues involved in dealing with Unix types...
