Ok Jawaid.. you've got a great point... the thing that REALLY annoys me,
though.. is when Apple TRY to emulate the great things in the GS on the
MACINTOSH....... such as their sound chips, etc, which are very similar
to the ensoniq. Apple seem to be trying to make the Apple II range
obsolete, by making macintoshes more educational, with better sound,
with better graphics, etc, when the GS is the ideal machine (without or
with only a few extras) for doing these tasks.

When oh when is Apple going to realize that there is a market for the Mac,
and a market for the Apple II??? Why does the MAcintosh have to be the
sole computer they offer, when a GS (at a much cheaper price) can perform
the task better! You say that the Macintosh is a faster machine... ok,
that may be so NOW, with the advanced technology that is being implemented
in the Macs... but consider a GS compared to a MAc of the same time. The
only reason why a new mac is faster than a gs is that macintoshes are being
upgraded, whilst GSs are remaining with old 8-bit slots, no separate
graphics or memory-moving chips, etc. I also find that Macintosh graphics,
no matter what speed the machine is, are terribly slow. I think this
can be attributed to the Mac's absolute reliance on system tools. The
GS can be coded to perform graphjics routines that I have never seen on
the Mac.
