3.5 Drive Repair

  Has anyone some experience in repairing 3.5" drives? Mine refuses to eject
the disk completely. It ejects out maybe half a inch (by software or manually).
A control arm which engages the bottom one the disk is failing to let go. Is
this an electromechanical failure, just mechanical, or what and how can I go
about fixing it. Alternatively, who might I send it to for repair. Many thanks
for any suggestions.
