IIGS Has Great Sound, But How Do You Take Advantage Of It?

     Everbody's been talking about great sound on the IIGS but I'm
finding it frustrating to take full advantage of it.  For example:  I
haven't found any ftp sites that have very many GS sound resource
files.  So, I've been forced to download Mac soundfiles (there's
plenty of those).  But, I can't use very many of them.  Some of them I
can get using MacSoundGrabber and others with rSoundBrowser.  However,
many I cannot read with either program.  And, many that I can read
with rSoundBrowser come out all screwy (even after using the clear 00s
option).  Finally, what sounds I do get into the proper GS format are not
recognized by the Sound Control Panel when I put them in the
/System/Sound folder.  What gives?  

     Any advice, suggestions, etc. are welcomed.
