Todd PW has worked on this and brought up the memory problems on GEnie. Matt D
got into the discussion a bit too; I think he said they would look into making
this easier in 6.0.1. I believe Todd said a P8 pre-boot was necessay, but then
you could work under GS/OS. You can allocate the memory you need with an ID
with master ID 0 and the memory manager won't dispose of it when you reboot.
