You can play the older style games but with only CGA you are very limited.
Besides most of these games have some sort of counter-part in a GS game which
are much better. The only game I have used on the PCT is SimCity as the GS
doesn't have it. I tried Lemmings but the graphics were poor (4 colors -
pink, black, white and black) and was terribly slow. I wouldn't recommend
buying the PCT for game playing.

I have already installed DOS 6 on my pct partitions and has worked without
problems so far. I get an average of 30% to 40% more disk space with no
noticable slow down in speed.

Actually you don't need anything except maybe the new pkZip. You can download
the files on the Apple side (even unpack them with apple unzip,Lzh utilities)
and then use the "transfer" program that is part of PCT to move them to the
DOS side. Though, you'll find extracting zipped etc. files is quicker on the
PCT side so you'll need the barrage of archive utilities that comes with
using DOS. Most major DOS ftp sites has a archives or pkzip folder with
these.

For starters, because the pct runs under prodos 8, you are limited to a max
16 meg partition (unless someone has found another way). You can have more
than one partition though. How much is up to the user and what DOS software
you have. Remember though that DOS programmers are extremely lazy and their
programs are huge. PC Tools took almost 7 Meg, Word Perfect 5.1 takes 5 Meg,
DOS 6 took around 2 Meg, Nortons took around 5 Meg. etc. and you now see that
I more than used up my first partition with only 3 programs. Of course, it
all depends on what you want in the drive.

I beleive it is version 2.05
