Nope, it's a bug in the FST. What was happening was Write would stop
prematurely after transferring 512 bytes, if the most recent Read call
stopped because it hit a newline character. Dave fixed this early in
6.0.1 (before I got here), but I believe GSCII was the program used to
demonstrate the problem to us.
