P8 and Resources (was Re: MS-DOS FST? => Resources)

Yeah! Good idea! P8 can use the memory manager, when running on a GS. But I
really don't know whether there is enough room for the attach-code. Here's
a suggestion: Apple could ship a patch program with every P8 version
(to guarantee compatibility. Maybe they could call it GS.SYSTEM, which passes
control over to the next =.SYSTEM file when finished). They could
duplicate some P8 functionality (of course not for file loading, otherwise
you can't load the patch decently...)in a block of memory lying outside the
language card (i.e. in 'Memory Manager Space') to make room for the attach
code. Hey folks, what do you think of this??
