I find it hard to believe that the Apple II is still alive and apparently
thriving on Usenet. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Apple II. In fact, I've
still got a ][+ and a IIgs, I just don't use them much anymore. You see, there
came a time, not long after Apple officially stopped supporting the II line,
when the local stores no longer stocked any kind of Apple II software. To the
best of my knowledge, even GS/OS was no longer being upgraded. So I ask: how
has the Apple II stayed alive? Are there still new applications being
produced? It would be nice to know, cause then maybe I could start using my
Apple II's again.
BTW, I've only just noticed this group among the > 2000 groups at my site, and
in the last couple of weeks, I haven't seen an FAQ, so I apologize in advance
if this group is not the correct one to put this question.
