For the filetypes, a simple extension interpreter will do the trick. Turn
.txt into $04/0000, .bat into $B0/0006, and so on, defaulting to typeless

As for the resource stuff, why do we need to have resourced files on MS DOS
disks? For general use, the ProDOS FST will still be used because it has
longer filenames and is generally a better file system, so the MS-DOS one is
mostly for conversion.

Not that resources should exist in the first place.. nothing but problems,
a stupid idea from Apple.
