I'm not big on this, though I'm interested to see what the majority opinion
might be. I imagine I'd get my money's worth for the $10 or $20 initial
donation to buy the thing; if other people want to FTP from it, it affects
me not at all. In fact, it's not even really a question of "money's worth";
if I were super concerned about that, I'd probably give the cash to a decent
humanitarian charity rather than the somewhat dubious "charity" of building
a central II software library. It's just something that seems vaguely worth
doing for some reason (IMO, at this moment...I make no predictions on how
I'll feel about it in six months ;) .

Dunno, I think most would say that kinda circumvents the purpose of
shareware. Again, any particular shareware author might disagree though...
