'Fake' is not the right word. Cooperative multitasking (a la System 7)
dosen't ensure equal distribution of processor time to the various processes,
but it's not fake, especially since every call to getNextEvent or
waitNextEvent can result in a context switch. Something I do often is
download stuff, print, and play a video game all at the same time, that's
not too fake.
