Hmm. What I see now is NO supported spreadsheets, a few incompatible
sequencers, one shareware paint program that is easily available (cheap
paint) and one or two commercial ones who I never hear about because
all of the Apple II magazines to which I used to subscribe have folded
and I no longer have any $$ to go out and subscribe to new ones, no
supported databases, one vendor supporting programming languages, one
vendor supporting user interfaces, etc. In other words, there are NEVER
GOING TO BE MANY companies supporting the same product. If we can get
even ONE program supported - even in free/shareware domain - we
are going to be lucky. So instead of reliving the old days when
there were lots of folks interested in the 1-5 million Apple II owners,
let's just worry about getting ONE version of the various software
packages supported. THEN, after we have one of all that folk need
being supported, let the 'kids' come along and do it better...
