Why bother? For about $40 you can buy an XT 150-watt power supply, connect
the power supply cable from your current apple power supply to it (some
soldering, obviously, required) and have all the power you want. I've had
one Apple //e running on a 150-watt XT supply for 18 months and a second //e
running on a 200-watt AT power supply for the last 6 months.
