    Sure, I'd donate $10/$20 to this cause.  Let's see someone match
that figure.  Maybe we should get Jerry Lewis Telethon in to help us
raise the funds.  ;-)   Seriously, you should start compiling a list of
people who be willing to donate and post an updated list here every so
often.  This will 1) encourage other people to join in and 2) remind
those who have pledge of their commitment.  :)  Then when you think you
have enough, everyone can send in their cheques at the same time.

    What about backing up the archive?  Can you use existing hardware
for tape backups?
