If we could get a bunch of people to pitch in and buy a hard drive,
Colorado SuperNet will be happy to install it on their Sun and set it up
for FTP access. All it would take is $5 each from 40 people to get a
nice 130MB Maxtor drive stuck on a Sparc to house, eternally, Apple II
archives. Let's think about it folks.
I'd be willing to accept donations for the project, only depositing the
checks when/if the full amount arrived. I know where to get the 130MB Maxtors
for just over $200 (and no, it's not retail, and no, I can't buy them
for anyone).
Let's show a little solidarity and do this - permanent Apple II archives
are pretty important.
Finally, we'd need another $20 to get an account set up on SuperNet so
someone could log in to maintain the archive. I don't have the time for
that.
