Gary,
Perhaps setting the Zip to power on slow would fix the problem. I think
this is switch 1/6. (Don't you hate the lack of a real printed manual and the
great confusion regarding the dip switches in the stack? I think the speaker
setting is mixed up in the stack, btw.).
