    Try backing up your hard drive by file instead of by volume the next
time.  When you restore, you are given a file list where you can pick
and choose which files are to be restored.  I have about 250 floppies of
ShrinkIt archives backed up using Archiver.  No problems restoring a few
files at a time as I need them.
