Well, CD Remote sends vendor-specific commands for the Apple CD-ROM
drive, so unless Toshiba used exactly the same set of commands as
Apple, CD Remote will not work.

I'm not sure what happens if you put an audio CD into an Apple CD-ROM
drive (I'm using my borrowed drive on a IIe as a CD Player at the
moment, and haven't used it on the IIgs for a few months).

I think that the system software would ignore the disk, but I'm not
sure how it would identify the disk as "audio".
