audio discs on generic CD-ROM drive?
Okay now that I know my Toshiba CD-ROM drive works on my GS (I guess
it is a 'real' enough SCSI device), I have a few questions:
I have a really old Apple(tm) Rev. C SCSI card (I am amazed it even
recognises the CD drive). A copy of Oct 92 "Windows NT Device Driver
Kit" (ISO 9660 format) is recognized as a valid disc.
If I set the drive in 'Test' mode, I can manually play audio discs, but
then the drive becomes 'lost' from the SCSI chain.
GS/OS and the 'CD Remote' NDA don't recognize audio discs. If I boot
with an audio disc, GS/OS says "Cannot recoginze..blah blah ... [Format]
or [Cancel]". (Heh, trying to format says "Write Protected").
How do I force GS/OS to recognize my audio discs?
