I should tell our current newsletter editor. He's also the
President of the user group. He and the VP know next to nothing about
the Apple II (making snarky comments like "Why on earth did you buy
AppleCare for your Apple II? It's a dead machine! No one will fix it
if it breaks! Har har har!"). They say that since we mail a copy of
our newsletter to Apple Canada, we shouldn't say anything that might
make them angry at us. In fact, our logo even contains the line "An
Independent Apple User Group". So much for that... :(

I'm not attending, but our Treasurer (another Macnoid, but not as
obnoxious as the other two) is attending at her own expense. I'll try
to post the exact dates and location of the meeting (Grover Thomas
mentioned he lives in Ypsi!)
If I can, I'm going to repost the original editorial (about Apple
Canada discontinuing *all* Apple II products, not just the GS), then the
"censored" one. It was the hottest topic I've ever seen on the user
group BBS. For the first time, the sysop had to delete messages because
of the personal insults flying back and forth.
