Which version of ORCA/C and ORCA/Shell are you using?

Have you checked the definition of QDStartUp in QUICKDRAW.H?

For ORCA/C 1.3 and earlier, it should read:

extern pascal void QDStartUp() inline(0x0204,dispatcher);

I don't have 2.0 yet, but if it has prototyped toolbox calls, then
QDStartUp should be defined as expecting four Word parameters.

You might have done something that corrupted the shell, operating
system, or something else. Without more details, I can't think what
the problem might be.

What method are you using to terminate your program (return from main(),
exit() call, or something else?)
