Or here's another idea as well... instead of comp.sys.apple2.bbs or
comp.bbs.apple2, how about a creating either comp.sys.apple2.datacomm
or comp.sys.apple2.comm? Fashioned somewhat after these groups:

comp.sys.amiga.datacomm Methods of getting bytes in and out.
    comp.sys.mac.comm Discussion of Macintosh communications.

I personally think a .comm would be the better than .datacomm. But
the new group could be used for discussion of apple2 related terminal
software, bbs software, network communications (dialups, LAN, etc...),
and basically anything else that falls into communications. It is
mabey a bit vague, but not as vague as comp.sys.apple2 and creating
too many smaller groups wouldn't seem very good either. Thusly mabey
something like:

comp.sys.apple2 General Discussion about Apple II computers.
comp.sys.apple2.comm Discussion of Apple II communications.
comp.sys.apple2.gno The AppleIIgs GNO multitasking enviornment.
comp.sys.apple2.programmer Apple II related programming issues.

Of course we'ld also still have the binaries and sources groups as well.
Adding a comp.sys.apple2.marketplace (whatever name) could be done as well,
but the misc.forsale.computers.* groups already exist for that purpose.
