I too have an Apple IIc.  There is a partial RGB "enhanced video"
port on the back of the IIc.  I believe that an intermediate device
must be connected to that port, then to the RGB monitor.

This is outrageously complicated!  I have never seen that intermediate
device ever reviewed in the Apple II magazines (Nibble, InCider, A+),
nor has it ever been advertized.

The Laser series of Apple clones had the RGB interface fully internalized,
and a low-cost RGB monitor was offered.  I wish Apple had that level of
foresight with the IIc!       sebugg Buggie
