Nope.  Only 256k on this machine.

You could have either a ROM 0 or ROM 1 machine.  Boot any program and watch 
the bottom of the screen as it goes through the boot process.  If it says
"ROM 1" that's your answer.  If it says nothing at all, it's a ROM 0 
machine.  Without memory expansion you are limited to running ProDOS - ie. 
the same system software running on an Apple //e.  Nearly every program 
written for the GS requires at least 512k and most, including the latest 
GS/OS 6.0 release, require much more.  Memory expansion cards are 
"relatively" inexpensive and most can be bought in 'less than fully loaded' 
configurations which you can add to later on.

In the meantime, you could use it like a //e but that's sorta like hooking 
a Thoroughbred (okay, a Morgan) to a plow and wondering why your old 
plowhorse wasn't good enough.
