This old good games ...

	I don't agree with people who say that they would like to have
a spy hunter, or choplifter, or Might and Magic, or karateka, or lode
runner, or elite ...etc version for the apple IIgs.

	Those games are legendary and their interest is not linked to
their graphics or sound... What could bring a new lode runner on gs ?
I think nothing... I used to play to lode runner on my green monitor
and when i play with it on the color gs screen it's not the same
thing. I prefer to remember my hundreds hours passed with my mach III
joystick on choplifter, lode runner or skyfox. Nothing now could
change that, and i think that those majic moments never leave me.

	 I prefer wizardry I on apple IIe at Dongeon master on GS.
It's difficult to explain but i think that the simple aspect of
wizardry and the low number of possible actions was a good thing : you
could see the imediate result of your actions : the number of
parameters was enought little to let the player understand the game
strategy.

	Ultima series is also interesting. You could finish the three
first soft with no difficulties... and not in a century. Ultima IV was
to big to be finished in a month...two or three were necessary. For
Ultima V, you needed of six moth to see the 'END' word...
Now with Ultima VI, Underground or VII, you have to play during one
year to finish the game... Where is the interest ?? A good game is a
game who is at the human ladder. If you have to pass one year on a
game to end it, you won't interested... I love the Apple II old games
because you could end it in two week for the arcade game (karateka,
skyfox...) and a month for role playing game (Ultima, wizardry...).
  
	Does anyone here know what append of Dan Gorlin (coplifter
1982) ?
