Is he serious!!  Gee, I thought the guy was just rephrasing what I've seen 
almost daily on this net:  Where are the best ftp sites?  Give him a break! 
Otherwise you'd better be prepared to slam every programmer who has put his 
stuff up for freeware/shareware use.  As for the good old days, I seem to 
remember about 20% of the people bought the stuff and everyone else pirated 
copies.  Maybe I was only exposed to a degenerate crowd but there are still 
quite a few folks who don't pay their shareware fees.  I seriously doubt 
the something for nothing approach is limited to the college kids of today.
