Ok, this makes a lot of sense. It sounds to me like the microcontroller is
encountering a problem that is delaying its readiness. Next time this happens,
I'l going to try things like like scrubbing the contacts of the
microcontroller (don't laugh, dust and humidity can cause very real problems
for low-power CMOS) and re-connecting all my ADB cables in case the connectors
are loose. I stopped getting 0911's soon after I switched on the heater for
winter, so I may not have a chance to investigate this for a while.
