I use a datalink 2400 baud modem on both a IIE and a IIGS I would recommend Proterm 3.0 by INSYNC (around $79) It will emulate several file transfers with Kermit among the list as well as z modem, ascii, and x and y modem. It also has a large scrollback and buffer and will allow you to use pull down menus with a mouse or use key commands. good luck... TBarner@RCN.mass.edu
