Questions about Superdrive stuff

I have some questions. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If I use the HFS FST on my GS, I can pop in a Mac disk into
my Apple 3.5 drive and be able to read it. Right? The file will
show up on the GS' Finder and I can move it/save it onto a GS/OS
disk. Right?

If I have the 3.5 drive controller/Superdrive controller [what's
the correct name for this controller anyway?], can I use my Apple 3.5
drive as a Superdrive? FDHD? Meaning, can I read Mac, MSDOS, GS/OS
high density disks?

If not, does that mean I must get a Superdrive controller card
AND the Superdrive, just to read HD Mac, MSDOS and GS/OS
disks?

All replies appreciated. Please reply via e-mail [especially
since I'm trying to avoid the growing Anti-Apple campaign here]

Thanks! I'll post summaries to the net if anyone wants me to.

P.S. Is there an Apple version of the AFE utility? Even though
we can [if we can] read Mac disks now, especially with the
Superdrive.
