Sound control panel settings are in the Sound.Settings file (makes sense).
CDev.data is some info maintained by the Control Panel NDA. There was a bug in
1.x - installing new cdevs didn't always work, and deleting cdev.data fixed it,
but this is fixed in 2.0 and isn't relevant anyway.
