Deskwriter Question
I am using a HP DeskWriter with my GS via the Harmonie driver. I also have a
7mhz ZipGS. My quesiton is, what control panel settings will give the fastest
printing? And also which driver is best? One has .ext on it and the other doe
does not. I have the port driver set to the 57.6k baud driver. How can I be
sure that it is communicating at 57.6k baud? Should the printer port be set
to 19200 baud for 57.6k to work properly? With my current settings (57.6k
port, 19200 baud in Contol panel, DTR handshaking, no parity,8/1 data/stop bit
,XON/XOFF handshake on, no DCD handshake, unlimited line length, no buffering
no echo, and the 2nd and 3rd checked) I get 1 page in a litle more than 4
minutes. If you can see anything that I might need to change in order to help
print speed please e-mail me or post if you cannot e-mail. I would especially
like to know how I can be sure that the port is communicating at 57.6k baud.
Thanks.
