Formatting HFS on IIGS

The question of how to format a hard drive for HFS on a IIGS such that the
drive is usable on a Mac (ie: has a driver) has come up numerous times here
lately. I have suggested renaming ADU GenericMacSCSI and putting it in the
System:Drivers folder. Unfortunately, I have a report that this does not work.
