This is a bit off the thread, but I had to get this idea out to someone who
might be able to do something with it.  I mentioned it on my Pointless
registration card, but...

Since it is possible to take TrueType Font data and use Pointless to render
a bitmap font, would it be possible to translate the TrueType data into a
PICT?  If this was possible, we could generate a PICT of "A" and then scale
it to any size.

I think this would be great with programs like AWGS, BeagleDraw and
GraphicWriter III that can print PICTS smoothly at any size.  What do you
think?  Would a program like this be possible?
